On 22 June 2019, teachers with children and youngsters learning Polish as their mother tongue, presented the richness of the Polish language and the attractions of Poland during the Native Language Day – an event promoting bilingualism in the municipality of Copenhagen. The Polish stand was organised by the teachers from the Society for the Promotion of Polish Education in Denmark. The Embassy of Poland was represented by consul Dobrosława Siemianowska.
The teaching program for native languages in the municipality of Copenhagen now includes 31 languages (Polish being one of them). Education is free of charge for children from EU countries, and the offer is addressed to children in 0th-9th grades. We encourage to use the possibility of free Polish teaching in Copenhagen – all necessary information is available at: www.kk.dk/modersmaal, as well as on the website of the Society for the Promotion of Polish Education in Denmark: http://edu-tractus.dk/n/
