    Ambassador Henryka Mościcka-Dendys paid a visit to Aalborg on 7-8 March in order to strengthen ties with Northern Jutland and discuss the potential for investments and scientific cooperation.

    - I am very pleased with all your activities and with your efforts that allow us to cooperate on connecting Poles living in Denmark and to cultivate Polish language, culture and traditions among children and youth, said Ambassador Henryka Mościcka-Dendys during a meeting with representatives of the Polish Federation in Aalborg. The talks focused on the activities of the Federation, on projects carried out by the Polish community and on possible cooperation with the Embassy in this regard.


    Later on, the Ambassador met with CEO of the Port of Aalborg, Claus Holstein, and his team to discuss Danish investments in Poland – and Polish investments in Denmark. The port management expressed interest in engaging with Polish businesses, especially companies offering modern technologies in the fields of smart cities and smart ports. 


    During a visit to Aalborg University, the Ambassador discussed the potential for strengthened scientific cooperation through scholarship programmes and joint projects in the areas of tourism and transport in the Baltic Sea Region.


    Finally, during a meeting with Arctic Consensus – a Danish cluster specialising in developing Arctic cooperation in Denmark – the Ambassador discussed relations with Greenland and the Arctic policy of Denmark.
