The Embassy of Poland hosted yet another meeting of young Poles working for international organizations and corporations operating in Denmark as well as those active in research, academia or culture in the whole of Scandinavia. Representatives of a number of Polish and Danish companies specialising in green technologies and electromobility also joined the event.

Minister Counsellor Artur Soroko launching the meeting highlighted on behalf of the Polish diplomats: “We are happy to see more and more young and very well educated people from Poland applying for jobs at prestigious universities, important Danish companies and international organizations based in Copenhagen. It is our task not only to support you, but to underline you positive contribution to building a new brand of Poland. Your professionalism, education and energy are essential for achieving this goal.”

Topics touched upon during the networking meeting included the necessity of cooperation and effective exchange of information between the Polish government and Poles working in international organizations (including the UN City in Copenhagen) or in Danish companies and universities, as well as the indispensability of active information exchange and integration of the young Polish community in Denmark, in order to increase the number of joint Polish-Danish scientific projects, encourage Polish companies to expand in Denmark, and stimulate cooperation between start-ups.

The reception was also attended by a delegation of the Polish Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology visiting Copenhagen on 29-30 November, headed by Undersecretary of State Mr. Marcin Ociepa, as well as representatives of Polish companies with an interest in cooperation with the Danish counterparts in the e-transport sector.
