Migrant workers from Poland, Bulgaria and Romania were in the center of attention during this year’s Diversity Day organized by Aalborg’s branch of the 3F trade union.

The meeting, which took place on 14th September 2019, was opened by 3F’s regional president Allan Busk along with ambassadors of Poland H. Mościcka-Dendys, Romania A. Gradinar, and Bulgaria S. Stoev. They all expressed gratitude towards 3F for their efforts in integrating and protecting migrant workers’ rights on the Danish labour market, as well as for their commitment to promote the cultures and traditions of CEE countries among Danish people.

The Diversity Day program included folk dances as well as tasting of various regional delicacies. Representatives of Aalborg’s Polish Community, with their president Ms. J. Jonsdottir, served a number of traditional Polish dishes including bigos, cold meats, traditional cheese and poppy seed cakes as well as an apple pie.
